STORY BOMB CUFFLINKS

FOR THE STORY TELLER This exclusive series consists of two pairs of hinged 925 sterling silver cufflinks and aluminum from recycled bombs. Recycled Aluminum Bomb Charms created in Xiangkhouang. Sterling Silver created in Vientiane    Between 1964 and 1973 during the Vietnam War more than 2 million tons of bombs were dropped on the land of Laos, the most bombed country in the history of mankind. In the 1970s, artisans in Laos recycle these bombs into spoons by recovering the metal from the shells.   Elizabeth and Camille, founders of the ARTICLE22 brand, are inspired by this unique skill and decided to turn these remains of bombs into jewelry in order to raise funds with the NGO MAG (Mines Advisory Group) which launches de-mining operations.
