Marble Mosaic Fleur de Lis with Blue Tile Surround

Made-to-Order (see estimated Lead Time near top of this page) Pictured is a Fleur de Lis backsplash made of two components:  a blue porcelain tile surround with a cutout for the fleur de lis insert as well as the hand made Fleur de Lis insert itself made of approximate 600 marble tesserae, and a glass or marble accent band made from the color glass / marble of your choice I originally crafted this Fleur de Lis from hand cut marble tesserae as a custom order for a customer.  As I often do, I took pictures of it once completed.  I noticed a box of blue porcelain tile that I had recently ordered laying nearby and decided to snap a picture of the mosaic fleur de lis laying on top of those tiles.  I found the result striking.  The 18" x 18", 20" x 20", and 24" x 24" Medallions include a Mosaic Fleur de Lis measuring approximately 14" tall.  The 32" x 32" medallions and larger will include a Mosaic Fleur de Lis measuring approximately 18" tall.
