Golden Door Canvas

"I lift my lamp beside the Golden Door"   That line is an open invitation to the United States of America and New York City.   I took this photo upon leaving Liberty Island on a ferry and was lucky enough to get One World Trade Center in the background.  If I would have been impatient or too patient by a few seconds the boat would have moved too fast and I would have not been able to get a photograph of both in my frame.    I edited this photograph to look like a painting and to highlight the shades of red, white, and blue.  Photographer: Dylan Carpowich
