
Mt. Shasta I-5 Vista Point Canvas
I decided to drive to Oregon simply because I have never been to Oregon before.  I spent a few hours in Ashland before heading back south to California.  This is the first and come to think it of it probably the only major natural Landmark people see on Interstate 5.  There is a vista point not far from the border where I pulled into and took this photograph.    It was not as epic in real life as it is in this photograph, but this part of California reminded me a little of Big Sky country in Montana, I went on a road trip to Yellowstone once about 15 years ago when I was 19.  This is the part of California that is at higher elevation over miles and miles of relatively flat land.  This is a little Montana in the Northern most part of California.  I picked the right day to go on a mini road trip, thunderstorms rolled in from the coast just a few hours after I took this photograph.     There are some epic photographs I saw of Mt.
