Nonbinary is an umbrella term for those who live outside of the binary way of gender expression (male or female). Within the non-binary umbrella are (including but not limited to) transgender, agender, bigender, genderfluid, genderqueer, non-binary and trigender. Nonbinary individuals may be non-conformist in their expression and identifiers—sometimes seen in androgynous fashion or self-expression.
