A rare wild species observed in the Colombian Caribbean. Oval fruits turning yellow when ripe. The aril that covers the seed is edible with a sweet flavor, quite aromatic. The mesocarp you can prepare juices in milk. The species is little known, so it has been observed at an altitude of 60 to 50 meters above sea level.
