Skulls are a recurring theme in a lot of my pieces. I love skulls. The first piece I cast in sterling silver 20 years ago was a skull with CZ eyes; it is a part of my jewelry wardrobe almost daily to this day. Ancient groups like the Aztecs and Egyptians considered skulls a symbol of the cycle of life and of rebirth. Several cultures consider skulls as a sign of good luck. They are believed to protect against all evil spirits and ward off disease. Aside from the fact that I think skulls are super cool; I wear mine as a Talisman for good luck and protection.
