91 points Jeb Dunnuck Bottled in January, the medium ruby 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo Clare J.C. is fresh and floral, with bright notes of distilled raspberries and a light white pepper spice. It’s not as effervescent as the 2022, which was not a decision made by the estate, but rather a natural occurrence in this vintage. On the palate, it offers poppy, fresh, ripe fruit, and although there’s a little bit of warmth, the wine is clean and retains lovely freshness and sweetness, with light spice and floral notes on the finish.
