Out Our Way: Smokey's Saga

For some time, Bruce Simon has been producing these lovely collections of early Public Domain cartoons from the Golden Age of Newspapers. Many of Williams’ daily cartoons featured Old West themes — cowboys, ranch hands, horses, and the like — but this collection of his Out Our Way series  presents what in retrospect was one of the earliest serial adventure strips; gradually, over time, the standalone daily gags begin to tell a longer story.
