The US*1 Limited Release Toasted Barrel Finish Rye is Kentucky straight rye produced by taking Michter's US*1 Single Barrel Rye at barrel strength and finishing it in a secondary barrel made from staves that are air-dried for 24 months. The completed barrels are carefully toasted, not charred, imparting a more subtle smoky tone to this treasured dram. Bottled at cask strength, US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Rye has a varying ABV, hovering on average around 54% ABV
