Drink now through 2035."  That's huge press from Spectator for a sub-$40 Willamette Valley Pinot and it has us betting on a spot in their Top 10 (our track record for picking these is pretty darn good). Whatever happens, here's what we know for sure: if you've not checked out Cristom's Pinots recently, you are missing out. Winemaker Daniel Estrin has brought a newfound elegance and polish to Cristom Pinots and we love it.  The '23 vintage represents a record: a whopping 77% of Mt. Jefferson comes from Cristom's famous estate vineyards Eileen, Jessie, Louise, and Paul Gerrie. The remainder comes from neighboring top sites in the Eola-Amity Hills.
