G.D. Vajra Dolcetto d'Alba Coste&Fossati 2022

Imagine if you fused Barbera and Dolcetto...and you're on the right track. For fans of either Dolcetto or Barbera, if you've not tried it consider it a must. From the winery: Coste&Fossati is a reservoir of ancient Dolcetto biotypes, identifiedand rescued by Aldo Vajra between 1979 and 1985. Cuttings were grafted in thenamesake Barolo estates (of Coste and Fossati). These plants, with a ‘red stalk’, create a limited production of the most intense and noble Dolcetto, with an amazing aging potential.
