Cumberland Gap National Historical Park

For longer hikes atop Cumberland Gap, this is your map! The Scouts call these trails the Mischa Mokwa. For history buffs, it celebrates the famous road through Cumberland Gap. For those who lived high on the ridge, it was a way of life. For backpackers…well, it’s just darn challenging. But exploring the Hensley Settlement, discovering Sand Cave, and gazing at distant ridges from atop White Rocks makes this trail an adventure worth living.
