Grand Junction Exploration Map for Sightseeing

This new map format is SO AWESOME, whether you’re auto-touring, 4-wheeling, camping, fishing, or hiking! From Grand Junction, this map extends 34 miles north, 8 miles south, 30 miles east, and 30 miles to the Utah border (as the crow flies). Elevations in this area range from <5K to >10K feet. Covering nearly 2,400 square miles, this colorful map with detailed topo line contours covers NW Mesa County, SW Garfield County, and a small part of NW Delta County. Our “Map Highlights” tells of some of what’s in each map quadrant. Back country forest and BLM roads are categorized showing the type of vehicle you should have for the road. Other map features include: trails, trailheads, campsites/campgrounds, fishing areas, scenic views, State Parks/other State lands, BLM recreation and conservation areas, National Forests, elevations/names of passes, peaks & places; rivers/lakes/streams, a waterfall, interesting geologic features (notable rocks/pillars, arches, cliffs, tunnels)
