The Blonder Tongue AQT8-QAM/IP 8 QAM Channels 8VSB/QAM Transcoder enables users to customize IP and QAM outputs from off-air and/or QAM input sources. This device can handle eight 8VSB off-air or QAM sources and simultaneously deliver SPTS and/or MPTS programs in IP and/or QAM. Additionally, the AQT8-QAM/IP can operate in Pass-through mode, directly translating demodulated RF port content into MPTS format for IP output. For off-air applications, the AQT8-QAM/IP offers a 2:1 Mux Mode feature, enabling the multiplexing of two off-air sources into one MPTS for QAM distribution. This device can process encrypted QAM sources and produce encrypted IP transport stream programs in MPTS or SPTS formats while maintaining MPEG tables (PAT, PMT, PSIP, VCT, and MGT) from the source. Users can modify PID, program number, short name, and major/minor channel (PSIP) information for any program.
