It takes 1 of the 2 HDMI inputs, and converts it with the Ethernet 100BaseT, RS-232 and IR input signals to a twisted pair signal. The device offers a maximum data transfer rate of up to 2.25 Gbps over a distance of up to 330’ (100m). Shielded twisted pair (STP) cables such as Kramer's BC-DGKat524, BC-DGKat623, or BC-DGKat723 cables can be used for optimum performance. The TP-582T 2x1 Twisted Pair Transmitter supports HDMI v.1.4 with Deep Color, x.v.Color, Lip Sync, HDMI Uncompressed Audio Channels, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, CEC, and 3D Pass-through.
