Threes & Nines

By Edward Garvey The title Threes & Nines refers to my tendency to use short 3-line stanzas as the framework for my poems, and to write series of three or nine related poems, or sections of poems. Why three and nine? Not sure I can put that into words. Though maybe something to do with being such a fan of baseball (and its dependency on these two numbers). More seriously, the chapbook's central theme is the meaning, consequence, and demands of relationship, both between individuals, and the individual's relation with the natural world.
