This hand dyed #8 wool thread is a medium dark black with tiny bits of gray - think stormy skies, shadows, shading dark objects and more Soft and wonderful to work with this thread is made of 100% Australian Merino Virgin Wool of the highest quality. I love it for wool applique but you can also use it for crewel work or anywhere you want dimension in your hand stitches. Size 8, 10 yards. Hand dyed in small batches, each skein is unique.
