
Wooly Sheep + Bunny Pattern
At first attempt, this character was only going to be a bunny but as I finished the bunny I realized with a couple of tiny changes we could also have a fantastic wooly sheep. So now you have both a Wooly Sheep and a best friend Wooly Bunny included in the pattern. The loop stitch, which turns into fringe, is a bit tedious but it’s only every other row for a very short time. You can do it and it’s completely worth the effort in the end. Sit back and enjoy the Wooly Sheep + Bunny ride! This is one of my favorite projects ever. The yarn I used is our fantastic Wisconsin Woolen Spun Worsted, you really need a wooly yarn for this project to make the cut loops turn into a scrumptious, squishy coat of wool. This yarn is perfect for making the loop stitch, which is then cut into a fringey coat, because with the woolen spun yarn the fibers grab onto each other and don’t slip.
