The Carl Hansen & Søn BM3670 Outdoor Dining Table draws inspiration from 19th-century English furniture, American Shakers, and traditional cabinetmaking processes. Designer Børge Mogensen originally designed this series for his own balcony in the late 1960s. He wanted to design pieces that could be folded flat and stored away or hung on the wall as a decorative element when not in use.
