Carved in China in the 1990's, large hand-carved frog on a lily pad netsuke. The material is Hippo Ivory, and bears the hollowed shape of a tusk, with 2 holes and is signed by the artist. 2 1/2 inches long x 1 1/4 inches wide with scrimshaw texturing. Double holes for hanging, or use as an art object. Exquisite carving, one-of-a-kind.
