
Flow Blue Luncheon Plate Stanley Pottery Touraine Pattern c 1898
A flow blue plate with a floral pattern and scalloped edge. This vintage 8 3/4" luncheon or dinner plate from the Stanley Pottery Co. features the beautiful Touraine pattern in a deep indigo blue hue and trimmed in gold. It was produced in England starting around 1898. The back stamp reads Touraine, Stanley Pottery, and England with a registration number below. Note that HENRY ALCOCK AND CO also had a pattern of the same name. This was manufactured by Stanley Pottery. MEASUREMENTS 8 3/4 ” (22.2 cm) diameter x 1” (2.5 cm) deep. Weighs 12 oz CONDITION There are currently no chips or crack but there are three repaired rim chips on the back. Wear scratches are visible on the front, but very minimal crazing. The gilding along the border is very worn.
