Ancient Bog Oak & Walrus Ivory Hatchet

This Behring Made hatchet perfectly combines beauty in function in this work horse of a tool. Hand forged from 1/4" thick high carbon 01 tool steel, the bit measures a 4" cutting edge with a razor sharp hollow grind and a hammermark finish. The nickel silver guard is soldered in place above black, aluminum, copper and fossil walrus ivory spacers. The ancient bog oak handle features a nice fat crow's beak shape and really fills the hand. The overall length measures 14" and it will come in a Glacier Leather sheath.
