However, unlike the quartz models of the late 20th century, this version is fully mechanical, offering dual-time functionality powered by the JLC Caliber 939. Measuring just 10.5mm thick, the case maintains a sleek profile, while the polished and satin-brushed surfaces provide a dynamic interplay of textures. The signature lateral “gadroon” ridges running along the case flanks are a nod to the original Polo design and give the watch a sporty yet refined aesthetic. The white lacquer dial is beautifully executed, featuring tri-Arabic numerals at 4, 8, and 12, paired with applied rose gold indices.
