The Watch: First introduced in 2013, the “Dark Side of the Moon” marked a bold new chapter in the Speedmaster line, bringing Omega’s most iconic chronograph into full modernity. Crafted entirely from black zirconium oxide ceramic, this reference blends cutting-edge materials with classic Moonwatch DNA. The 44.25mm case is fully ceramic: lightweight, highly scratch-resistant, and paired with a matching ceramic bezel with white enamel tachymeter scale. The black dial features applied indices, two-register chronograph layout with date at 6 o’clock, and subtle red “Speedmaster” text that adds a hit of contrast to the stealth aesthetic. Powering the watch is the Omega Co-Axial Caliber 9300, a column-wheel chronograph with silicon hairspring, twin barrels, and a 60-hour power reserve. The movement is visible through the sapphire caseback and decorated with Geneva waves in arabesque.
