The Watch: Originally launched in the early 2000s, the Seiko Think The Earth WN-2 was developed in collaboration with the Think the Earth Project to encourage environmental awareness through design. The WN-2 features a large hemispherical dial that represents the Earth, which slowly rotates once every 24 hours. Instead of conventional hands, a small silver marker is aligned with your time zone and rotates counterclockwise, indicating 24 hours time against the bezel, while the orange dot index notes the minutes, giving you a simultaneous sense of global and personal time. The case is constructed from brushed stainless steel and features a domed mineral crystal, giving the piece the retro-futuristic feel of a 50's UFO. Measuring 45mm in diameter, the design wears surprisingly well thanks to the ergonomic strap and case curvature.
