-Males: 3-Females: 5-Mixed Count: 50 Discoid Roaches – Easy to Keep, but Patience is Key! We’ve sourced 10 different bloodlines, including wild-caught genetics, to create a genetically diverse, thriving colony of Discoid roaches. This diversity results in stronger, healthier, and more resilient feeders, with improved survival rates and consistent size, activity, and longevity compared to inbred colonies. However, patience is key—Discoids breed much slower than Dubia, which can be frustrating for those expecting rapid colony growth. While they are just as easy to care for, their slow lifecycle requires long-term commitment. They thrive in slightly warmer temperatures than Dubia but have a much lower tolerance for extreme heat or cold. Unlike Dubia, which can handle a wide temperature range, Discoids require stable, moderate conditions to reproduce successfully. If temperatures swing too high or too low, they will struggle, making climate control essential for long-term success. If you
