We managed to find and purchase several large (and we mean LARGE) wine tanks that give us enough wood to really have some creative fun! The "Kursu" is made from wine soaked wood that comes from giant wine tanks which makes the cabinet really sturdy yet very easy to move. The chalkboard front is easily washable with a damp cloth. NO stain was used, only a clear UV sealer to protect and highlight the natural wine color. And yes, it's purple! The chalkboard front is perfect for you to put daily specials or a welcome message. Heck, even a funny quote or haiku. The plexiglass top (not pictured due to an overactive dog on shooting day) is removable so you can put the seating chart or SOP underneath for easy viewing.
