Kikar - Dining Table

Let the "Kikar" Wine Barrel table entertain for you! The table top is made from purely recycled wine slat wood, which spend months to years soaking in the rich burgundy hues of the Central Coast’s best wines. Each wine slat ( about 50 per table) is individually planed, squared, hand sanded, and pieced together into a smooth gap-less table top. It's wrapped in a 2" band of recycled steel, hand cut and custom fitted to the piece after the top has been finished for a perfect fit. Our welder carefully attaches the legs with triangle brackets, and balances the piece with glass prior to sealing. We seal the top with organic food grade Tung oil, then buff with local beeswax for a totally waterproof surface and easy to clean. The legs are sealed with 3 coats of UV sealer, and felt pads are added to the "feet" to prevent scratching your floors.   These tables were designed for a local wine tasting room, so they're fully ADA Compliant!  The square design also makes them perfect for combining tab
