These can be inserted in the adjustable pockets inside. They are Level CE 1. Rated: EN 1621-1: 2012 certified.  Instructions: - To insert the hip pads, open the velcro pockets on the inside of the pants. - The knee pads can be inserted in the adjustable pockets from the inside by opening the Velcro.  - The Protective Jeans need to be turned inside out to insert the knee pads.
