Knitted Heart Patch

Skill Level | Intermediate Finished Size | 4.5" wide; 4" long Yarn | Mary Maxim Woodlands Needles | US 7 (4.5 mm) needles Knitted hearts are a fun Valentine's day project, but these patches can be used in all sorts of ways. Attach them to a hat, scarf, jacket, bag or any other accessory - make two, seam and stuff them to make a little softie or make a few to give with Valentines. You'll only need about an hour or so for each. With this project you'll learn how to shape the ends of rows to create a heart shape. Being familiar with the knit stitch, basic increases and decreases are a big help but not a must for this project. The step-by-step tutorial will walk you through it all.
