Noren (traditional Japanese curtains) are used in restaurant, pub, and store entryways to protect from wind, sun, rain, and dust. They are also used to announce a shop's name and that they are open for business, They are often used as dividers for rooms, entryways, doorways, windows, or for wall decoration in the home. Large graphic print makes a bold statement for your space. This Noren shows the 8th Yokozuna, Shiranui Nagiemon, performing the ring entering ceremony attended by his sword bearer. 59" h x 32.5" w 70% Rayon/30% Polyester resulting in a much thicker, higher quality material compared to some others which are 100% Polyester. Made in Japan. The Noren is split for convenient entryway use. Center split is 48". Printed on one side. Pole not included. Pole pocket is about 1" diameter.
