Part of the collection of famous suffragist Alice Eugenie (du Pont) Ortiz. (Some of the books have her bookplate, this one does not.) 432 pages. In very good condition, with firm binding; crisp boards; rubbed leather; small chip to upper spine; stamp to rear inside board; light normal toning to pages; and a clean interior save pp 221 & 227, which retains the pencilled notes of suffragist Alice Eugenie (see above), in which she recounts a story of out-of-body experiences by a Mr. Dupont (her future husband?).
