Unitronic Intercooler Upgrade for MK8 GTI/R

Unitronic is proud to release its first of many Performance Upgrades for the MK8 platform starting with this direct OEM replacement bar and plate Intercooler Upgrade for the MK8 GTI and MK8 Golf R which comes with all required hardware for a simple installation. This Intercooler features our all-new black finish and provides a dramatic reduction in charge air temperatures to ensure peak performance is achieved and sustained while resisting heat-soak after repeated efforts and in harsh climates and conditions. Enthusiasts with the 8Y Audi® S3® can opt for the Intercooler as no new hardware is required for a direct bolt-on installation. In the case of the MK8 GTI and Golf R, provisions needed to be made in order to assure the Intercooler Upgrade would clear the factory radiator. As such, Unitronic Engineers designed spacers which help retain OEM fitment and cooling performance in this area.
