BLADETRICKS CUSTOM TITANIUM SHARD KWAIKEN, BLACK FRN

A One Off, custom kwaiken knife designed by A.N. Nash for Bladetricks. With a simple and efficient symmetrical V - grind and a well thought-out handle, the Bladetricks Shard is a large EDC urban everyday carry knife with an excellent penetrating tip and a long slicing cutting edge. A kwaiken or kaiken (bosom knife) is a 20 - 25 cm (8–10 in) long, generally single edged knife without ornamental fittings worn by Samurai men and women in Japan, a kind of short version of the Tanto. All wives of a Samurai class man were expected to carry one  in the inside pocket of a kimono sleeve or inside the lapel.
