Pairs Perfectly With Pumpkin Spice

  Two ingredients make the magic that is this scarf. The first is the hand dyed yarn, imported from Chile, that is a blend of superwash wool, yak and nylon. This was the first time that I worked with a yarn that comprised of this terrific trifecta, but it won't be my last! The result is an outrageously soft and delightfully drapey! And apparently, it takes color splendidly because the color of the pumpkin seems to have an iridescent glow.  To maximize the impact of the deep copper hue, I opted to knit this scarf using a technique known as brioche. Specifically, two-color brioche - which is to say that each row of this piece was knit twice. Once with the copper, then with the undyed hue. The result is a reversible scarf - one side pumpkin, the other natural. It's truly a perfect partnership between colors and knitting and yields a piece that is so fun to wear. No matter how you drape it, the beauty of the yarn and the colors are readily evident.   FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Length: 68" (173
