Anemone 'Whirlwind'

Anemone × hybrida 'Whirlwind' 'Whirlwind' is a vigorous, mounding Japanese hybrid anemone. Featuring semi-double, ruffled white flowers that stand tall above the lush dark-green foliage. Flowers bloom in late summer to fall (August - October) atop long wiry stems. Foliage is an attractive dark green that forms a mounded habit.  Excellent as a fall bloomer in your garden. Excellent when used in mass plantings, perennial beds and cottage gardens. Hosta and astilbe make great companion plants. This deer resistant anemone also makes a lovely cut flower. Plant in full sun to part shade and a well drained soil. Arrives to you in a gallon container.
