Campanula 'Birch Hybrid'

Pre order now for delivery this Spring! Campanula portenschlagiana 'Birch Hybrid' Commonly known as Bellflower, this 'Birch Hybrid' is a profusely blooming perennial with cup-shaped nodding flowers. Expect the purple-blue blooms to last from late spring through late summer, giving lots of garden color.  Plant in full sun to part shade for the best color. Average, well-drained garden soil is preferred, but they also do well in clay and sandy soils. Cut back by about one third after flowering to refresh the foliage. This long-blooming beauty is beneficial to pollinators and is also rabbit resistant.  An excellent groundcover choice, Bellflowers do well in containers and make lovely cut flowers. Plant with Coreopsis for an added striking color contrast in the garden. Arrives to you in a quart-sized container.
