Centaurea 'Amethyst in Snow'

Centaurea montana 'Amethyst in Snow' ‘Amethyst in Snow’ produces beautiful white-petaled blooms with blue-purple centers. Flowers rise 12-18" over silvery-green clumps of leaves. Expect blooms from May to June.  When planted in full sun and well drained soil, this pollinator will attract bees and butterflies over summer.  Perfect for mixed containers, borders or garden beds that receive full sun. Especially pretty when mass planted in cottage gardens and naturalized areas. Hosta, Heuchera, Aquilegia and Coreopsis make excellent garden companions.  Arrives to you in a quart-sized pot.
