Eupatorium maculatum (Spotted Joe Pye Weed)

Eupatorium maculatum Commonly known as Spotted Joe Pye Weed, this native perennial features a tall bushy upright mound of green foliage and lavender-pink flowers that form in clusters. Expect blooms from summer through to early fall. Plant in full sun to part shade in a fertile, hummus rich soil. Fragrant flowers are showy and make excellent cut flowers. Attractive to birds and butterflies while resisting deer and rabbits. Ideal to plant in borders, native plant gardens or rain gardens. Use as an accent plant, in meadows and wild gardens as well.
