Forsythia x intermedia 'Magical® Gold' One of the first flowering plants of the year, Forsythia is an upright growing, flowering shrub that grows to 12' tall (more commonly 10') and features an abundance of bright yellow flowers that bloom in Late February on bare stems. Forsythia will commonly bloom for about a month before dropping their flowers and flushing out green leaves for the remainder of the year. Plant forsythia for early spring color when other plants are just emerging. Stems are popular in cut flower arrangements or alone in vases. Kolgold’, commonly sold under the trade name of MAGICAL GOLD, is best known for larger flower size (to 1” across), abundant bloom, and bottom-to-top bloom habit. Typically grows to 4-5’ tall and as wide, but can grow larger over time with no pruning. Arrives to you in a 1 gallon-sized pot.
