Heucherella 'Stoplight'

Heucherella x 'Stoplight' 'Stoplight' features foliage that has yellow, gold, spring leaves which change from lime green with deep red centers. Short spikes of white flowers appear in late spring. Combine with red or blue flowering annuals and perennials for multi-seasonal interest.  Plants seem to burn easily with direct exposure to hot afternoon sun, so plant this where it receives afternoon shade or all-day dappled shade. A nice choice for the woodland garden, or for edging in a shady perennial border or rock garden.  It forms a bright low mound of color perfect to brighten up the shaded areas of your garden. Foliage should not be trimmed back in the fall, but plants may be tidied up in spring by removing any brown or tired-looking leaves. Arrives to you in a quart-sized container.
