Very rare and hard to find edition of John Halifax, Gentlemen by Miss Mulock. Dark blue cloth boards with a lavender Iris pastedown on the front in an oval frame. Gold gilt fleur-de-lis decorate the front cover and spine. Gilt in very good condition. Published by Hurst and Co. Undated c1890. Minor bumping to corners and top and bottom of spine. Pages clean with mild toning. Binding tight. Very good condition. Please note that this is a vintage item and will show its age.
