Manhattan Beach, California Only twice each year, the sun dips below the horizon at the center of the Manhattan Beach Pier.  Bo waits for the perfect moment and finds it when the water crosses between the pier’s pilings.  Almost symmetrical, the pier’s black silhouette is softened by the technicolor sunset reflecting off the water.
