Drexel “Dateline” Sideboard

A fantastic, midcentury sideboard designed by John Van Koert for Drexel’s “Dateline” collection made in 1956 and 1957. This piece features three central drawers flanked by a cabinet and single small, upper drawer on each side. All drawers open via gracefully contoured, brass pulls. The right hand cabinet has a single shelf while the left has fully open storage. This piece has a beautifully sculpted edge along the top. It sits atop tall, integral spider legs. There is some light west throughout commensurate with age and use. In overall great vintage condition. 52” wide x 20” deep x 32” tall
