Body materials are available in Stainless and Alloy Steels for pressures up to 3,600 psig. It is widely used in higher pressure drip applications and critical tracing applications where condensate back-up is not permitted. Applications: Draining condensate from steam mains and steam supply lines. They can also be used for steam tracing applications. The WT1000 is a Low-Capacity Thermostatic Steam Trap specifically sized for steam tracing applications. It is also commonly used as an air-vent for heat exchangers.
