From the family behind the popular Siete Family Foods brand comes a welcoming and flavorful collection of all-around nourishing Mexican-American recipes. As a third-generation Mexican American family from South Texas, the five siblings of the Garza family grew up sharing meals around the table. When their sister, Veronica, was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that required a grain-free diet, her family rallied around her and adjusted their eating habits accordingly. It was difficult to forgo the foods that were associated with some of their best memories—tacos, queso, and chips in the backyard with friends and neighbors—and avoiding those dishes felt like turning their back on their heritage. So, Veronica began experimenting in the kitchen, using alternative ingredients to reinvent traditional foods.
