Native to the Southeastern US. The typical variant forms a white flower when in bloom. It has sticky adhesive leaves which attract, capture and digest insect prey in order to supply the plant with food. It has 5-petaled zygomorphic flowers. This variety is easy to grow and does not require high humidity or intense lighting to flower and create sticky leaves.
