2021 Au Bon Climat "Isabelle" Pinot Noir [KW94.5]

On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, bright and savory. The flavor profile is wild strawberry and rhubarb blend with notes of cinnamon, red plum, and stone dust. We also detected some hints of cedar, teaberry, and red cherry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and light tannins show nice length. The Tasting Panel would pair this complex Pinot with duck confit.
