Variety: Pink bourbon and Caturra Process: Washed and Yeast-inoculated Washed Sourced by: Coffee Quest US “No distraction.” I posted this “descriptor” on Instagram when I had chosen the reference batch for Las Perlitas 3.0 and received a few gentle and curious “LOLs” in return. We get it. We, and Danny specifically, realize that our coffee language and (general) expressions can be a bit puzzling. But, if we explain it just right and pull back the layers, we have a feeling you may start describing coffees this way yourself. There are certain coffees with intensely vibrant personalities. They lean zippy, chaotic, and a tad rowdy. You may find certain aspects of the coffee to be utterly thrilling and engaging (huge jammy purple fruits anyone?), but ultimately there’s something about the cup that throws you off.
